Jesus was with God the Father before the World Began He came in the flesh, a man born in Judah, the city of Bethlehem, full of grace and truth; to a virgin to whom the Holy Ghost came upon, and to whom the Highest overshadowed.
“As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:” In the Old Testament He appeared to Abraham, Job, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel; and in the New Testament, to the disciples and Apostles (to name a few).
In the flesh, He was a Jewish rabbi who taught the children of Israel God’s law and commandments, because He had not come to abrogate the law, but to fulfill the law. “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
He taught the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth, because, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)
They bore Him witness in Nazareth and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. Great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from beyond Jordan were astonished at His doctrine: For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
They brought Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
The blind received their sight, and the lame walked, the lepers were cleansed, and the deaf heard, the dead were raised up and the poor had the gospel preached to them. The prophet Isaiah said of His first coming, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: ....” (Isaiah 35:5, 6) This is Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God.
Jesus told His disciples, “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.”
Jesus did not come to live a long and fruitful live here on earth; He came to lay down His life for us. Through one man, Adam, sin came into the world and separated us from God; through one man, Jesus Christ, we are redeemed and restored to God our Father! so that all who accept His free gift, would receive forgiveness of sins and have eternal life. (John 3:16 and John 17:3.)
God said, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” (Leviticus 17:11) Jesus died for you and I; don’t reject God’s perfect gift! All you have to do is believe that God sent His Son, Jesus the living Christ (Messiah). Confess to Him first, tell Him that you believe and accept Him, then confess it with your mouth to others.
Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God the Father, and one day soon, the Redeemer will return.
The Prophet Job Spoke of Him: “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.“ (Job 19:25-27) And to whom Job said, “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee” (Job 42:5)
The Prophet Nehemiah Praised Him: “Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. (Nehemiah 9:6)
